Our sincere condolences to Doug, whom’s mother passed away. We also learned that our charter member ….. has passed away

 

Toni and Adrian confirmed that all the changeovers in our area have taken place and were attended between the two, and that annual reports are available for those who are interested in reading them.  Both will attend the cluster meeting on Sunday in Rochester and we will report on that next week. The next board meeting will be on Tuesday 30 July at St Aiden’s board room at 5pm.

 

Brian began his business, Bendigo Photography Tours, about six months ago. This is an opportunity available in many cities around the world and it allows Brian to follow one of his interests and passions. As well as the opportunity to experience the beauty of Bendigo participants receive training on how to get the best results from their cameras.

 

Tours are tailored to people's interests. As well as the opportunity to experience the beautiful architecture of Bendigo arrangements can be made to tour the back lanes and ally ways. Experiences at night call for specialised camera use however the light and shadow at this time can give amazing effects. Brian has had requests to tour the tram depot and farms in surrounding areas.

 

The experience begins in Central Bendigo and is generally conducted as a walking tour. Transport can be arranged as required. Brian offered some good advice about composition and photography processing as well as the storage of photos. Nice to hear that the good old hard copy is still the best way to store your favourite photos.

 

Bendigo Photography Tours are conducted with up to six people. The cost is $99 per head and $129 per head for night tours. Bookings can be made on the Bendigo Tourism website (www.bendigophotographytours.com.au). Also, the business can be contacted via tours@bendigophotographytours.com.au.
