Those on raffle duty, it is only the selling of the tickets, the club has accepted to responsibility for the prizes. There will be a container of mixed prizes held in the store room of the tennis club.
Two days in and already late with the report!! At least Rob will understand.
-Last Tuesday was another very successful Reclink BBQ . A record crowd for this chilly weather,so the snags were very much appreciated. Thanks again to the crew who volunteered.
-Wednesday we had a meeting at the racecourse to review the site for our BBQs for the Bendigo Cup,The Beach Party and tthe Christmas race meet. A good outcome.
-Friday activities began early in preparation for the changeover. .Numerous messages were left on my phone singing, " Oh Happy Days!!" Obviously from PP Rob.
- A great night was shared with fun , fellowship and a smidge of alcohol at numerous tables.
-Three very special awards were received acknowledging the commitment to our club Recipients were -
* A PHF Evelyn Lehmann a rotarian for 15 yrs. She has a history as counsellor to rotary Youth Exchange students, board member as community service director and chair of the markets. Other involvement with fundraising for breast cancer nights and long term support with Valour medical hospital in India.

*A Sapphire PHF was awarded to Geoff Michell for his ongoing dedication as International Director continuing support of projects in Timor Leste.

- Wednesday 6th we have been approached to join Phoenix FM Rotary radio for a question time with Bendigo South.
District Wise
- It has beeen great to attend the Changeover dinners, from Castlemaine,Eaglehawk,BendigoSouth and Bendigo over the past few weeks.The general feeling is to have more interaction within the clubs. and visiting other clubs meetings has already been a request.
This week is KangarooFlat changeover.
