Our club was very fortunate to have Beau McKenna as a guest speaker last week. A brilliant insight into Safescape, the company making Equipment for the mining industry on our doorstep.

· Great to see our IT up and running smoothly, and thanks to Paul he has compiled a great cheat sheet to assist us. So, I invite all to check it out as we will be rotating duties.

· Last week our PP Rob Rosaia accepted an invitation from the mayor to join her and some other leaders in welcoming the Ukrainian Ambassador to Bendigo. I believe an enjoyable lunch was an added bonus.

· First Board meeting for the year last Tuesday -Some sad news when Bruce Fraser announced they would be moving to greener pastures to be closer to family in Geelong. This will leave a big void in our club and committees.

· Our committee structure was almost complete, so now we have some positions to be filled. Please consider supporting the club.

· The Rotary Zone 8 Regionalisation Project was discussed and the webinar dates and times have been sent to every member. Any further clarification can be discussed with Cathie. Before the vote is decided in September.

· The Auction is almost here and response has been very positive, thanks to Adrian and his committee. See the email for items and details.

· The “olive oil” brewing in Robbie’s shed equates to approximately 6 X500ml bottles will be prepared and labelled when settling time is complete.

· The Honour Boards are to be updated and a possibility about displaying these at the rooms.

3rd August Working Bee at the Mechanics Hall Sheds, to sort out our equipment and maybe find some lost items.

24th August Dinner Meeting at Castlemaine in place of our regular morning meeting.
