Well the Months keep flying by and as usual our first meeting of the month was club forum with reports from director.

The Knitting project that we help support and the great work that club member Patti Cotton does with the knitters who produce 1000’s of items.  They just sent of 3000 bundles to small children for safer immunisation program and another container being prepared for Maubisse.

We are working with Disaster Aid Australia run by the Rotary Club of Endeavour Hills which delivers Australian based humanitarian aid packages to people who’ve suffered loss, such as shelter materials, clean water.  We’re looking at becoming the Central Victorian Representative for Disaster Aid Australia.  They have their 2 day conference in April if anyone would like to attend with Ray please speak to him. 

With the Conference next weekend in Bendigo they are looking for Rotarians to man the information stand at conference with a person from Disaster Aid.  Please contact Ray for more details and to register to help.

We had our first of the regular last Thursday of the month fellowship nights, 21 people attending the great night at the Belmont Hotel.  The next fellowship night is on Thursday the 31^st of March at the Reservoir Hotel.

Easter Markets are going very well with a record receipts for market holders and still growing, and Evelyn has a roster for those who can support the Friday and Sunday Markets on the Easter weekend please see Evelyn if to assist not forgetting that we need all available hands for the good Friday BBQ and we will also have the Rotary Display so another busy weekend for the club.

Adrian and Martin are working with Weeroona College to present a break out session on the Sunday morning at the conference next weekend.  We can invite non-members to that session if you have anyone in mind that may have interest in the program or Rotary it may be a good way to introduce them to both.

Adrian is working on the student placement in East Timor in the medical field there are many difficulties including preparing students for what they will encounter, and the clinical field staff in Timor to be able supervise the students for the requirements of the University.  Still much to be done but an exciting project.

RYPEN camp is on weekend of the 19^th March and we have a Student Michael from Girton attending the camp.   There are 7 students attending the Rotary Youth Sail weekend next week and thanks to Amy we have identified 5 of these and logistics of transport are being organised for these students.

Connor announced that the President Elect 2016-17 will be George Waters, congratulation George. 

For the Conference we have 13 members attending and we will all be at All seasons for the Saturday night Dinner
