Rotarians gathered in Bendigo to learn about Rotary district grants and foundation
Rotary Clubs of Bendigo South and Strath will be hosting a pie night on Friday the 2nd of October to aid the Cambodia Student program.
The Great Victorian Bike Ride will be coming to town in early December with a two day stopover on the 3rd and 4th. We have the opportunity to cook breakfast for about 350. More to follow.
Rotary Clubs of Bendigo and Bendigo South will be hosting The President of the Richmond Football Club on Tuesday the 27th of October.

Peggy O'Neal
In October 2013, Peggy was elected president of the Richmond Football Club where she has now been on the board for almost 10 years. She was also chair of the Tigers in Community Foundation for 3 years until December 2013.
In August 2014 she was appointed to chair the Victorian Government's year -long Inquiry into Women and Girls in Sport and Active Recreation.
In September 2014 she was named as one of the Financial Review/Westpac 100 Women of Influence and as one of the Women's Weekly 50 Most Powerful Women in Australia.
Peggy was born in the US and has practiced law in Australia for more than 20 years, exclusively in superannuation and financial services. She was a partner at Herbert Smith Freehills for 14 years and, since 2011, she has been a consultant to Lander & Rogers. She was named as one of Australia's best lawyers in the Best Lawyers peer review survey in the 2010-2015 editions. She is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Peggy presently holds several non-executive director positions in the financial services industry as well as being on the board of Women's Housing Limited which provides housing to domestic violence victims and other women in need.
