Changing places are larger than standard accessible toilets with extra features and additional space to meet the needs of people with a disability and their carers.

Complete a brief survey to tell the Victorian Government that Bendigo needs a Changing Place. The survey closes on Monday October 10.

Rotary Clubs of Victoria have partnered with Australian Rotary Health in support of the ‘Lift The Lid’ campaign, which aims to raise funds to                                                  significantly increase research into mental illness prevention.

Each year approximately 1-in-5 Australians will experience a mental illness and in order to help future generations of young Australians,                                                           we need to look ahead through research and find out how we can prevent this type of illness occurring.

Check out this video featuring Rotarian Greg Ross which talks about the campaign in detail.

You can support this wonderful initiative by making a donation on Friday 7 October to your local Rotary Club, who will be collecting across the State.                                   Please give generously!

The Rotary Club of Melbourne is seeking your Club’s support.  We are hosting a “Peony Harvest Picnic” at Romswood Farm

on Sunday November 13th.  The event is a fundraiser to assist the Club’s across District  initiative to eliminate Trachoma within Australia and is described in the email below and the flyer attached.

We would be grateful if your Club would join us in supporting this initiative by promoting this event through your Club’s networks, and of course family and friends would be most welcome.

Romswood Farm www.romswoodfarm.com.au is situated in the Macedon Ranges and is approximately 35 minutes from Tullamarine Airport,

via Bulla, or 15 minutes from Woodend - and it should be glorious on the day.

Should you have any questions about the event please do not hesitate to give me a call.  Hoping that we can see you there on the day and

thank-you in advance for your support.
