Welcome to the new Rotary week and what a weekend it was.  Congratulations to everyone involved in the Swap Meet catering thank you all for your efforts  and big thanks to those who worked for the many weeks leading up to the weekend pulling everything together. When you see an exercise like this come together its easy to see just how great Rotary is.   A big thanks to to the Weeroona College volunteers who helped out over the weekend.

A big thank you to Peter Harvie who gave us an entertaining and interesting look at his trip through South America and the Antartica.   Peter leave us soon for South Australia and we wish him all the best and look forward to his visits back to the club.

 

The Cluster Foundation Dinner is to be held on Thursday the 26thNovember at the  

Platinum Room, Foundry Hotel  6.30 to 7.00pm.  The  guest Speaker Stephanie Woollard, founder of Seven Women should be terrific, tickets are  $40 which includes a 2 course meal, Drinks at Bar prices so book now and reserve your place.  They would like clubs to book as a group, so if you could see myself or Ray Carrington with you booking and payment please by the meeting of the 25th November. 

 

Following the foundation Dinner a special screening of the film Seven Women will be screened on the 29th November 2.30pm at the Star
Cinema, Eaglehawk. $15 per head Includes afternoon tea and there  will be a stall selling produce from the Seven Women project,  Nepal.   Bendigo Sandhurst members who read the bulletin  can collect your chocolate frog from me on Wednesday.  back to the Seven Women Film I have some tickets available so grab them now.

Wednesday 25th November is the White Ribbon day ''say No to Family Violence"  walk which starts at Town Hall at 11.45 for 12 noon The Rotary club of Next Generation are cooking the BBQ after the walk
if anyone is free to walk, where your Rotary gear and look for the Rotary banner and if you would like to help with the BBQ contact President Megan at Next Gen.

Don't forget this week we are meeting at Schaller Studio Art Series Hotel corner Lucan and Bayne Streets, Bendigo.  7:15 for 7:30am See you all there.

Foundation Dinner on Thursday, November 26.  This will be in the Platinum Room at The Foundry with excellent sound and vision,

wonderful food and good service.  The room will be exclusively ours. 

Guest speaker will be returned Peace Scholar Stephanie Woollard who founded Seven Women in Nepal. 

Following on the theme, on Sunday, November 29 a documentary on Seven Women will be screened at The Star Cinema at 2pm.

organised by RC Eaglehawk with afternoon tea and a stall of products for sale.  This documentary will be screened in Sydney and Melbourne

in 2016 but we are fortunate to have an advanced preview.
