Our diaries have been cocooned over that wet winter, and now
they've awoken to a late Spring, anticipating Summer:
Firstly, Martin seeks volunteers to join his Timor-Leste Coffee Project Committee.
And, we had a Board Meeting, disciplined by our “You'll need a board paper for that” executive:
We've funded 18 students to RODEC at Rochester;
Befriended Ann, Mark and Dennis, by donating $6,600 to The Rotary Foundation.
Board excited about our “Showcase Catering” at Bendigo Health Open Day Saturday December 3.
We're hosting a Masterclass for Bendigo Business Excellence Awards

Turns out Team 48 split into two sides:
Side One laboured in the sun up and down TL standard ladders, without their OHS handbooks, working with the locals … “We were hoping you'd have the old roof off, ready for us to start … “ .. all the time trying to fit the built-in-Bendigo steel meccano set roof onto a non rectangular set of TL walls …
Project looked pretty flash, with smart ceiling and electric lights to boot.
[Doug concerned that each time a local bare wire-twisting “TL Powercor/Origin” volunteer [!!] arrived, it was a different person …
Doug lost 3 kilos from around his waist and increase arms muscle mass by 4 kilos.
Phil Harris would not stop his Woof Woofing … something about a footy final …
Gluttons for punishment our Rotarians:
R&R was a trip to the highest point in TL Mount Romelau …
Locals cruised up the track as our reps puffed two and a half hours through rain and sleet …
Side Number Two, Martin and Trevor, cunningly positioned their fix-heaps-of-computers workshop close to the Sisters’ gratitude, and Kitchen …
PC’s [That’s a Bill Gates calculator for MAC philes], were resuscitated, generic, robust TL-proof programs installed and hardware & Software also offered to SOLS College.
