Smaller than usual turn up today – the lure of warmer weather has been too strong!
George Waters entertained us with his first experience of MUNA. He was very impressed with the event – the idea, the organization, the effort of the participants and the catering.
Club forum was held today – last one for this year.
Stan Hendy informed us that the Swap Meet planning has commenced. Keep the 14th & 15th Nov free.
Youth Services
Martin thanked everybody who volunteered over the week-end. The numbers were great. It was a big weekend and a great weekend.
Usually only 1 team is selected to go on to Canberra, but this year 2 teams were selected as they were both very impressive.
Community Service
Rob supported Martin’s comments about MUNA.
MOPAR is on again on Sunday. Bruce has been organising the roster and thanked everyone who has made themselves available.
The next major activity is Federation Picnic in late August
International Service
Cath advised that a working bee is taking place on Thursday at Radius to put together the kits of knitted garments to go the East Timor. The Friends of the Gallery will be gathering to complete the work.
