Co-President's report
Co-Presidents Report for 15th October 2025
There wasn't a meeting at Peppergreen Farm this week. Instead, we cooked breakfast for the participants attending the Ride to work Day activity at the Town Hall. We had a good roll up of our members. We also had a pair of parrots who objected loudly to us setting up under their tree.

Some reminders for upcoming activities:

  • Social night at Bridge Hotel on Thursday 23rd Oct. Let Paul Henderson know if you are coming
  • Foundation Dinner on Tues 28th Oct at Bendigo Club. We don’t have a meeting the following day, so it would be great to see a good number of members at this event.
Alison Bacon our Rotary Community Group North Central Victoria has organised a zoom meeting on Friday 24th Oct to discuss the possibility of developing an
Emergency Network in this region of Victoria. If you are interested in being part of this initial discussion, let me know and I will send you the zoom link.

The parrots who had a lot to say about where we were set up
Catch up with RC Swan Hill Sunrise at Gunbower.
Lots of conversations were had as we got to know each other - a lovely gathering. Thanks to Jim and Maurice for organising it.
We might see some of the Swan Hill team at the Swap Meet BBQ
I wonder where we are?
Thanks john.

BlueLight Youth Day – Camp Getaway Wed 5 Nov.

BlueLight plan to run a full day session at Camp Getaway for past participants and maybe some current participants of their One-on-One program and their boxing/gym programs. They plan a fun day mixed with some reflections about how the young people are going now. It’s a way for BlueLight to keep in touch and maybe offer a bit more support. We have been asked to run the BBQ lunch (funded by BlueLight). We have agreed to do this. BlueLight is keen to have more Rotarians than just the BBQ team, with the idea that we might informally mingle with the young people during the lunch. If you are able to help with the BBQ, and/or just be there, please let Stew know.
