Welcome back Danny – good to see you up and about.
Our guest speaker today was Margaret Singe in her role as Family Violence Adviser.
Last Sunday was the cluster President’s meeting. Next April is Rotarians at Work. A suggestion has been put forward to do a joint activity with some other clubs. If anyone has any ideas for our club to do, let Rob or Conor know.
A reminder for all clubs to encourage members to attend the cluster meeting on Nov 25th as numbers are still low. People also need to pay before the night if possible
The Board meeting on Monday night discussed the weekly meeting fee. It was decided to keep the fee at $22 (raffle ticket included). Bring some extra gold coins in case you get fined.
Approval was given to send a local student to the University of Melbourne VCE Summer School, $500 towards the fundraising for a companion dog for Tristian McFarlane and new accounting software for the treasurer. Rob also advised that Hume & Iser will provided $600 worth of goods for Camp Get-away for the BBQ we did for them at their opening day.
The minutes for the Board meeting will be uploaded into club Runner when they have been completed for everyone to read.
